Welcome to Great American Sports Camp
Dear Camp Families,
Welcome to Summer 2027 at Great American Sports Camp!
To our returning families, we are thrilled to have you back for another exciting summer. To those joining the Great American family for the first time, welcome! We are looking forward to another incredible summer filled with sports, activities, new experiences, friendships, and plenty of fun.
Great American Sports Camp began twenty-five summers ago, and since then, thousands of children have spent their summers with us. While our camp has continued to grow and evolve over the years, our goal has remained the same: to provide a safe, active, welcoming, and fun environment where kids can enjoy being kids.
For Summer 2027, we are excited to continue building on everything our families have come to love about GASC while expanding our programming with even more off-site trips, special events, and activities.
Our Leadership Team
We are excited to welcome back Camp Director Mrs. Juli Jay and Assistant Camp Director Mr. Anthony Gizzi for Summer 2027. Juli and Anthony return with their experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to creating a safe, organized, and memorable summer for every camper who walks through our doors.
We are also excited to welcome Dylan Farrell as our Activities Coordinator for Summer 2027. Dylan will work alongside our directors and counselors to help plan and coordinate the sports, games, special events, and activities that keep our campers active, engaged, and having fun throughout the summer.
Together, Juli, Anthony, and Dylan will lead our staff as we continue to make GASC a place where campers are excited to come back each day.
Our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility at the Great American Center gives our campers plenty of room to stay active throughout the summer. Campers enjoy our multipurpose sports arena, sand volleyball courts, outdoor sports areas (weather permitting), and dedicated arts & crafts/media room.
Throughout each day, campers participate in a wide variety of sports and activities, including soccer, flag football, Nerf hockey, volleyball, kickball, basketball, group games, arts & crafts, and much more.
But GASC is about more than sports.
We encourage our campers to try something new, meet new people, challenge themselves, and most importantly, have fun. Whether it’s playing a new sport, creating something in arts & crafts, participating in a special event, or simply making a new friend, some of the best summer memories come from trying something for the first time.
Our campers also enjoy a variety of in-house special attractions throughout the summer at no additional fee, including programs such as Mad Science, The Lizard Guys, Game Truck, Nerf Gun Day, Movie Day, and more.
For Summer 2027, we are also continuing to expand our optional off-site trips and events, including destinations such as bowling, Monster Mini Golf, and other exciting locations. These optional experiences are available for an additional fee and give our campers even more ways to make their summer memorable.
We also understand how important it is for parents to feel connected to their child’s camp experience. Families receive regular updates about activities, special events, and upcoming trips, and we share photos on our social media pages throughout the summer. Those pictures often tell the story best — happy kids, new friendships, and another great day at GASC.
As we prepare for another summer, we want to thank all of our families for choosing Great American Sports Camp and trusting us to be part of your child’s summer.
We can’t wait to see familiar faces, welcome new ones, and make Summer 2027 another unforgettable summer at Great American Sports Camp.
